Sci-fi Tank Sketch

Based on a script I wrote a few weeks back, I designed an idea for a futuristic tank with a shield generator.

The design was initially based on a combination of the HSTV-L testbed (swing-breech autoloader & 120mm ETC/CTA gun) and the Merkava (forward engine block & prominent ERA panels). Behind the turret is a sizable powerplant and shield generator, which increases durability at the cost of a rear blind spot.

In a couple of weeks I might attempt a 3d model, but I've never done anything so complicated before and it might take a while.
